Resin Fiber Discs
Resin fiber discs are flat discs used for weld blending, grinding, deburring, and finishing applications on various metal substrates. They are used for similar applications as flap discs but unlike flap discs no new abrasive is exposed as the surface wears down. Discs are ideal for removing imperfections on larger areas of all metals. They resist loading and have a high cut rate.
The maximum allowable RPM for resin fiber discs is the same as the maximum RPM of the holder pad used to drive the discs, provided the holder pad and the disc are the same diameter.
